This project is a business transformation programme to implement standard business processes and enablers within our client. The implementation of SAP as a core ERP system is planned over a 4-year period.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in this project department for a Functional Lead RTR to support the delivery of this project solution into wave deployments and continuous improvement releases. The Functional Lead is accountable for using their expertise to provide best practice guidance for this project programme and the wider business across all phases of the programme lifecycle.
Design and Application
You will be responsible for ensuring the functional team meets deliverables on-time, to budget and at the appropriate high level of quality and consistency
You will be accountable for the design and delivery of functional/industry design/build/realisation, ensuring the design and integration is consistent across multiple areas and supports business objectives
You will be able to recognise and mitigate wider integration impacts of this project solution in other workstreams and functional areas, collaborate with other workstreams to manage effectively
You will also have management responsibility for the functional team members, providing leadership, guidance, escalation management, support and coaching
You will be able to work with the business process lead and initiate solution discussions regarding new business requirements
Collectively support and sponsor business process improvement STP/Change requests with the business process lead
You will act as the secondary level for escalations for risks and issues and drive forward proposed solutions to mitigate risk in line with the governance framework, ensuring adherence to change management processes and take ownership for solution change requests.
Business Change Management
You will work with the Business Process Lead to collaborate with the GPO organisation and be an active member of the template review board
You will engage and collaborate with senior business representatives to organise and deliver clear, specific requirements aligned to the programme objectives
You will take responsibility for the technical input to the cutover/deployment plan from both a business and solutions perspective, providing support and guidance to team members, end users and stakeholders
Are you the ideal candidate?
Have In-depth knowledge and understanding of integrated technical design concepts of at least one functional area (RTR, PTM, OTC, PTP, LES/WMS) and principles within a Global organisation.
Have Significant experience working in a lead/management technical role supporting ERP systems and implementations, in addition to strong knowledge of SAP.
Have the ability to develop strategic direction whilst keeping the organisations vision and values at the core
Have Significant experience of driving multi divisional large-scale global change.
Have The ability to encourage and influence others to seek and create innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities
