RED - THE COMPANY
At RED, we've specialised in SAP recruitment for more than 20 years and, in that time, we've gotten quite good at it (even if we do say so ourselves). We have six offices in four countries (although we've not been in them very much recently) and around 230 people across our various teams.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic has been disruptive and not something we'd want to go through again, it did teach us some valuable lessons. We've learned how to make remote working work for us, and we've embraced the opportunity to create a flexible hybrid working model for the future. We've learned how to put wellbeing and mental health right at the top of our agenda, and how to help our people overcome challenges that they never expected to face. We've developed ways of working with each other that are even more effective than what we did before everything went a bit mad. And now we're working hard to make sure that all of the positive changes stick in the future.
Results have improved too. As you'd expect, things were a bit flat in the immediate aftermath of the pandemic but, since then, we've recovered to deliver record-breaking performance throughout the second half of our last financial year, and the first quarter of the new one. We're optimistic about the future too and we've got some ambitious growth plans to deliver this year and beyond.
To achieve those growth plans, we're going to need to hire people. Good people. And lots of them. Which is where you come in…
As part of our internal recruitment team, your role will be to find exceptional talent for all of our UK-based teams. You'll be working to find both entry-level candidates that we can shape into industry-leading recruiters through our delivery team, and experienced technology recruiters who can slot straight in to one of our sales teams.
You'll need to get to know all of our managers and leaders so that you can build a great understanding of the type of people that will love being part of their teams. You'll also work closely with them throughout the hiring process to make sure that we deliver an exceptional experience for every candidate that we meet.
Unlike an agency recruitment role, you won't have a database to search through, so you'll need to be brilliant at proactively sourcing candidates. The type of person who's always coming up with new ideas, and who's always on the lookout for opportunities. This is by no means an easy role, so you'll need to relish the challenge of finding and hiring people that the competition just can't reach.
We're looking for an engaging and passionate communicator, and someone who values building strong relationships with people. Someone who is authentic, resilient, emotionally intelligent and self-aware, and willing to work hard to achieve their goals. The type of person who you'd be happy to be stuck in a lift with for fifteen minutes. Although we'd rather that didn't happen… the last year or so has been tough enough without getting stuck in a lift.
We'd prefer someone from an agency recruitment background, and we don't mind at all if you've never done internal recruitment. As long as you've got the right skills and the right attitude, we're happy to help you make the switch.
Having said that, we're also happy to consider people who have done internal recruitment, as long as you don't spend all your time 'managing relationships with third party suppliers'.
When we meet you, we won't hide anything from you. We'll be really open and honest about the challenges that you'll face if you work with us, and we'll make sure that you know what you're getting yourself into. We'll tell you about all the brilliant things too, of course. But everyone does that bit, don't they?
If you end up working with us, you can expect to be given the freedom to make the role your own. We'll be there to help and support you but we won't be looking over your shoulder all the time.
