Title: SAP QM or PP Specialist

OUR CLIENT IS WILLING HAVE A SAP PP ANALYST JOIN AND TRAIN THEM UP IN SAP QM
Relocation assistance provided.
This position is responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of the SAP QM processes. The right person for this opportunity will partner with our project teams for roll outs throughout the company, providing input on system design, integration testing, user training, and post go-live support. He/she will act as day-to-day SAP production support, including coordination with team members and external on- and off-shore consultants. Finally, the candidate will recommend best practices to key business users to configure and enhance SAP to meet business requirements, using approved implementation and change control methodology.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform SAP Quality Management (QM) configuration for business processes that include inspection planning and master data, inspection lot processing, and end user support and training.
Ability to gather business requirements and transform them into SAP business processes that can be implemented and supported.
Other duties may be assigned as required.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related equivalent experience
3+ years experience implementing and supporting the SAP QM module with knowledge of integration points between PP, MM, and Batch Management
OR 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting PP module with knowledge of integration points between QM, MM, and Batch Management
Knowledge of SAP batch management and classification
Full QM life-cycle implementation experience from system design to post go live support
2+ years experience in an SAP production support environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of SAP's Production Planning (PP) module also highly preferred
Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, and various levels of management
Able to listen and communicate in a clear and concise manner, along with the ability to recognize the audience and tailor communications accordingly
Able to work independently
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to prioritize
Able to organize time and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills)
Able to demonstrate leadership qualities as a self-starter, set direction, and complete assignments

Must be flexible with work schedules and available to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice

Up to 25%, including regular travel to/from area council, manufacturing and distribution sites
