Job Description
The Technical Writer works with Cross functional teams (Products, Information Security, Technology, and others) to create and maintain documentation that efficiently and effectively transfers knowledge to relevant audiences. The Technical Writer applies technical writing best practices to design, test, and refine documentation that supports our products and internal processes. The candidates play an important role in improving the internal and external customer and user experience by providing clear, easy-to-understand materials to help users set up and use our products and services.

The Successful Candidate Is Expected To
* Understand the different types of users and develop content to meet their needs
* Deliver high quality documentation in a variety of media; documentation includes:
o Product manuals in process workflows
o Online help articles
o Developer documentation
o Design system documentation (Accessibility guidelines, UI standards
o Process and policy documentation in support of Client's information security and infrastructure standards
* Team up with a wide variety of stakeholders, including product owners, engineers, integration teams, technical support, marketing, UX, etc.
* Conform to departmental style guidelines, and ensure documentation meets the needs of the business and the audience
* Develops processes for the development, management, and control of documentation
* Work with other departments to acquire and disseminate information in a timely manner
* Adapt to changing business needs and changing industry practices to ensure that Client documentation always meets the needs of the business and the audience
* Research, analyze, organize, design, and develop the presentation of technical information
* Edit documentation and other information products for non-documentation colleagues
* Manage and be responsible for the technical documentation projects
* Play an active role in maintaining and improving team standards
* Manage time and projects effectively, juggling multiple projects and deliverables
* Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with other writers and developers
* Ability to organize your own work with minimal supervision and be able to meet tight project deadlines
* Ability to manage issues effectively, dealing with challenges constructively and positively
* Ability to maintain productivity and high-performance levels under pressure
* Relationship-building skills to collaborate with internal subject-matter experts and external customers
* Willingness to help when needed and actively share knowledge

Minimum Qualifications
* A minimum of 5-7 years technical writing experience preferably in a software development environment
* Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
* Experience working in a financial services environment preferred
* Some knowledge of Payments and Information Security processes is a plus
* Fluent written and spoken English
* Excellent writing and editing skills
